The musical is a cabaret! For those of you who don't know what a cabaret is, a cabaret is songs and monologues and lines put together to make a play. A cabaret can change from time to time and doesn't always stay the same. Our director wrote our cabaret and picked out the songs and everything! The name of the cabaret is, The Pretty Fast Life: A Cabaret About Growing Up. It is about life in high school and what it is like to grow up. I play the stereotype of a homecoming queen (i.e. very school spirited, dresses nice, etc.). I am so excited and I'm so happy to be apart of this musical! I have a duet with someone, but I get some solos in the duet. And I also get to sing about 5 songs with the whole cast! I'm extremely excited! Everyone should come out and see it at the end of April!
